The Two-Part Inventions of J.S. Bach:
a Model of Baroque Contrapuntal Composition and Style
Bach describes these pieces as “an honest method” for the study of composition as well as artistic performance.  This workshop will present a fresh look at some of the many facets of these gems of baroque literature through practical analysis. Understanding the theory behind the music makes learning and teaching them so much easier.
